Free Comic Book Day/Meet the Author In-Person
Meet Caleb Thusat, author of Supercats, Flytrap, Nook, Alter-Life, and other comics! His books will be available for purchase and autographing. Free Comic Book Day comics for all ages will also be available (while supplies last) courtesy of JC's Comics and Cards in Cuyahoga Falls.
Caleb Thusat, writer and creator of the acclaimed WWII ghost story Nook (Source Point Press), is a rising star in the indie comic community. Formerly an independent film producer in Chicago, Caleb has spent the past 9 years writing, creating, and publishing numerous comics, graphic novels, and children’s books. His series Supercats (Scout Comics) is both an introduction to reading and comic book format for children ages 0-7 and is a wonderful way to get your little ones excited about reading! He has sold thousands of copies of his books worldwide and published over 20 comics for readers of all ages, proving repeatedly that his creations are not to be missed. His passion for creating high-quality books and stories audiences will want to experience frequently rivals even the most professional comic book publishers' standards. If you love science fiction, fantasy, horror, or silly cats, he might be your favorite new author! Caleb lives in Hudson, Ohio, with his lovely wife, two amazing kids, and two super cats!
