In honor of Spike the Library Turtle's 40th birthday, we are hosting a Mini Art Show!  

Beginning Thursday, May 23, stop in to pick up your free mini canvas to create your own turtle-themed masterpiece at home.  We also have supplies, but you can use other materials to make your mini canvas uniquely yours.  We only ask that all submissions be family-friendly. 

Return your canvas to the library by Thursday, June 6, to have your art displayed as part of our Mini Art Show, which will be held between Monday, June 10, and Wednesday, July 31.  There will be a People's Choice contest, where the winner will be awarded a JoAnn gift certificate. 

Limit one canvas per participant.  We reserve the right to limit the number of canvases a single person or group picks up.  Participants must be 18 years or older.  Supplies are limited to 40 participants.  Do not frame your canvas.  Do not use any canvas except for the one provided.  Please note the correct orientation of the art by placing an arrow on the back of your canvas, noting the side that should be pointing up.  Registration is not required.  By submitting your art, you permit SMFPL to display, photograph, and promote it.  If you want to keep your artwork, please pick it up at the Information Desk by Sunday, August 11.
