Wednesday Movie Club: The Best Movie You (Probably) Haven't Seen: PRIDE

Wednesday Movie Club: The Best Movie You (Probably) Haven't Seen: PRIDE In-Person

This film is being presented as part of the Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library's Wednesday Movie Club, a weekly showcase of movies that matter for people who love movies.  Attendees will be invited to discuss the film immediately following the screening. Registration is not required.

Periodically we aim to show you a remarkable film that you most-likely haven't seen.  You may not have heard of these titles, but if you trust us enough to show up, we promise you'll see something that will make you laugh, cry, see the world through different eyes, or marvel at the power of cinema.  This week, we'll be watching PRIDE, a Britsh historical comedy-drama based on the true story of the unlikely alliance forged between a small community of striking Welsh miners and a team of London-based gay and lesbian activists.  Described as "impassioned and lovable," the film is sure to leave you with a smile.
