THE TRUMAN SHOW was a big hit with audiences and critics when it premiered in 1998. Twenty-six years later, it's more poignant than ever. The psychological comedy-drama stars Jim Carey as Truman Banks, the unwitting star of a reality TV show chronicling his every move. Adopted by the network and raised in the zoolike environment of a TV soundstage, Truman gradually discovers he's a prisoner in an immense city-size soundstage overseen by an Executive Producer (Ed Harris) who's manipulating every aspect of his life. THE TRUMAN SHOW is a must-see for anyone who hasn't seen it, and a timely rewatch for anyone who has.
