Children ages 2 - 11 are invited to participate in the library’s summer art show for kids. Each participating child’s submission will receive a special certificate highlighting what makes that piece of art unique. Certificates will be available to view in the exhibit, which will be open to the public from Fri., August 2 through Sun., August 11, during regular library hours.  

Entries can be submitted beginning Mon., July 8 through Sat., July 27 to the Children’s Department.  

Please note that two-dimensional artwork is preferred because the art will be hung on wire racks in the Children’s Department. Drawings, paintings on cardstock or canvas, and collages are permitted. We will accept a limited amount of 3-D art pieces, space dependent. Thank you.  

Artwork and certificates can be picked up from the Children's Department starting on Tues., August 13 - Sun., August 18, during regular library hours.
