Storytime Nature Hike: Animal Detectives

Storytime Nature Hike: Animal Detectives In-Person

When fall turns to winter, it’s the perfect time to learn about signs of animal life through the tracks and scat they leave.  This evidence left by animals can be very exciting to see and can tell us a lot about what is happening in the natural world even when things seem quiet and still. Join us for stories and activities and then we will test our skills on an optional nature hike.  Make sure you come dressed for the weather as we will be outside at the Nature Nook Shelter at Adell Durbin. This program is geared toward older preschool and school age children, but all families are welcome.  Registration for this free program is required and begins October 1st. To register, call (330) 688-3295, ext. 5, visit events.smfpl.org, or stop by the library.

Connect with nature just outside your door. This Fall, the City of Stow Parks and Recreation Department and Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library have partnered to present outdoor programs for area residents.
