Whose Shadow? Groundhogs and Winter's End In-Person

We all hear about Punxsutawney Phil and his shadow on February 2nd, but does a groundhog’s shadow really have anything to do with when winter ends?  Come learn about the history of Groundhog Day and how animal behavior can really signify winter’s end in this program for families. This program is geared toward preschool-age and elementary-age children, but all are welcome. Registration for this free program is required and begins December 1 at 9 AM. To register, call (330) 688-3295, ext. 5, visit events.smfpl.org, or stop by the library.
