This month's exploration of the "road movie" genre concludes this week with the iconic rock 'n' roll-road film, ALMOST FAMOUS. This heartfelt and hilarious coming-of-age story follows 15-year-old William as he gets an exclusive, whirlwind assignment to cover the fictional band Stillwater for Rolling Stone. Inspired by director Cameron Crowe's experience writing for the magazine and featuring one of the greatest soundtracks of all time, ALMOST FAMOUS is a love letter to the world of 1970s rock 'n' roll and a prime example of Hollywood filmmaking at its best.
