This week's movie club screening falls on the 45th anniversary of the classic, disaster-comedy film AIRPLANE! Routinely recognized as one of the funniest movies of all time, this spoof comedy takes shots at the slew of disaster movies released in the 1970s. Leslie Nielsen stars as a rogue ex-pilot with a bit of a drinking problem, who boards the plane hoping to win back his flight attendant girlfriend. But when the pilots get food poisoning, someone has to land the jet. This is a must-watch for anyone who hasn't seen it, and a guaranteed good time for everyone who has.
