Wednesday Movie Club: DIE HARD (Holiday Party) In-Person
This film is being presented as part of the Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library's Wednesday Movie Club, a weekly showcase of movies that matter for people who love movies. Attendees will be invited to discuss the film immediately following the screening. Registration is not required.
Yippee-ki-yay, movie lovers-it’s time for our annual holiday tradition! DIE HARD might be the most hotly debated “Christmas movie” of all time, but at Wednesday Movie Club, we’ve embraced it as a seasonal staple. Bruce Willis redefined the action hero as the everyman cop John McClane, trapped in Nakatomi Plaza with Alan Rickman’s deliciously evil Hans Gruber. Smartly directed by John McTiernan, it’s a masterclass in tension, pacing, and action choreography. NOTE: this week's screening doubles as our Holiday Celebration, so feel free to come early and bring your favorite holiday cookies, fudge, or festive confections to share. Explosions, one-liners, and gingerbread...does it get any better?
