Seismic Shake-up presented by PBS Western Reserve In-Person
Students ages 9 - 11 will explore the science of earthquakes by designing their own structure with simple materials and then test it on a shake table that simulates real earthquake vibrations. This hands-on STEM activity encourages children to use creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork to strengthen their models and survive the challenge! Registration for this free program is required and begins February 1 at 9 AM. To register, call (330) 688-3295, ext. 5, visit events.smfpl.org, or stop by the library.
