Directed by Steve James, the film follows two Chicago teenagers, William Gates and Arthur Agee, over five pivotal years as they chase the dream of playing professional basketball. What begins as a sports story gradually becomes something bigger, revealing how talent, opportunity, family, money, and luck collide over time.
