Leap into Science for Families: Wind In-Person
Families with children ages 3–11 will explore the science of wind and air by enjoying a story, experimenting with moving objects using wind, and creating a wind detector to observe and measure airflow. The Leap Into Science Curriculum, created by The Franklin Institute, focuses on open-ended, hands-on explorations and dialogue to encourage scientific thinking. Registration for this free program is required and begins January 1 at 9 AM. Please register each age-appropriate child. Register online at www.smfpl.org or call the library at (330) 688-3295 ext. 5.
