Wheel of Library Session 1 In-Person
Bring your team and your word‑game skills to Wheel of Library—a high‑energy showdown where strategy meets suspense! Four teams (up to 4 players each) take turns spinning a colorful wheel to earn points by calling letters, buying vowels, and working together to crack the hidden phrase before the others do. Come with your team already formed, or come solo and make some new friends. If you're coming with a pre-formed team, only one person needs to register. Enter your name as the registrant and add the other members of your team as guests. Please only register for one of the two sessions.
How it works:
- Teams: 4 teams of up to 4 players
- Rounds: 4 total rounds of play
- Team captain: Each team selects a captain to speak aloud; teammates can quietly confer and help
- Timing: 10 seconds to choose a consonant after the spin stops; you may buy a vowel for $250 from your current round score
- Scoring (locked each round): Unlike the regular word wheel game(s), all teams lock in scores at the end of every round. The solving team locks in their full round score, while every other team keeps 25% of the amount they earned that round.
Registration for this free program begins Thurs., September 3, at 9 AM. To register, call (330) 688-3295, ext 4, visit events.smfpl.org, or stop by the library.
