Campground Cosmos Night at Silver Springs Campground In-Person
Celebrate 50 years of Silver Springs Campground with an Astronomy Watch Party! Learn about the nighttime sky from hobby astronomers at Silver Springs Park on Groundhog Hill. They'll help you spot fascinating objects in the night sky, share views through their telescopes, and show you where to point your own binoculars or telescope. Download the free Star Walk 2 app to your mobile device before you arrive to enhance your stargazing experience. The Bookmobile will also be there with astronomy books for all ages, plus a fun craft and activity. Please bring your own chairs, blankets, and bug spray for a night of star-watching fun.
