Become a Dementia Friend In-Person
An educator from the Summit County Health Department will lead an interactive Dementia Friends session. Dementia Friends is a national organization that teaches people what it’s like to live with dementia and how to support people with dementia in our community. Attendees will learn the basics of dementia, including signs and symptoms, helpful communication tips, and what resources are available for friends and loved ones. Register online at events.smfpl.org, or call the library at (330) 688-3295 ext. 4 beginning November 1.
