ToshoCon In-Person
Toshokan: the Japanese word for "library." ToshoCon: a mini-convention for anime and manga fans ages 12 - 17! Featuring family-friendly cosplay and art contests with prizes, a manga drawing workshop and Q&A with artist/writer Lora Gray, bubble tea-making, and anime trivia! Anime merchandise is available for purchase from JC's Comics and Anime. Registration and a signed parental permission slip are required for this free after-hours event, sponsored by the Friends of the Library, the Hudson Library & Historical Society, and JC's Comics and Anime. Download a permission slip here or pick one up at the Teen Information desk. To enter the art contest, bring your hand-drawn art or a printout of your digital art with you to ToshoCon.
Lora Gray is a professional artist and writer/editor from northeast Ohio whose manga credits include My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!, I am a Cat Barista, and Penguindrum.
