February is not only Black History Month; it's awards season for the film industry, and we couldn't think of a better way to recognize both than by watching 20 FEET FROM STARDOM. Winner of the 2014 Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature, this toe-tapping tribute puts a much-deserved face on those under-sung background singers many of us have been humming along to for years. As the Chicago Tribune's Michael Phillips writes, "Just about everything in this movie is right. And anybody who gives a rip about unsung heroines of popular music and giving credit when credit's overdue had better come up with a good excuse not to see it."
