Wednesday Movie Club: THE SIXTH SENSE In-Person

This film is being presented as part of the Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library's Wednesday Movie Club, a weekly showcase of movies that matter for people who love movies.  Attendees will be invited to discuss the film immediately following the screening. Registration is not required.

Midway through our spooky season lineup, we’re turning to a modern classic that still manages to surprise: The Sixth Sense.  Bruce Willis stars as a troubled child psychologist trying to help a young boy (Haley Joel Osment) who claims he can see ghosts. What follows is a masterfully paced psychological thriller filled with eerie atmosphere, emotional depth and one of the most famous twists in movie history.  Nominated for six Academy Awards -- including Best Picture, Best Director and Best Original Screenplay -- The Sixth Sense is the kind of movie that you'll be thinking about long after the final scene.  Whether you’re watching it for the first time or revisiting it with new eyes, this is a must-see film that reminds us: sometimes, the scariest things are the ones we don’t understand.
